“One who lives is the one who is always in race with the clouds”

We humans, regardless of where and the circumstances we were raised up, will always dream of places and things that we haven’t reached or seen. The grass will always seem greener on the other side but we can’t just sit and watch the green, we have to be part of the green.

Being an Indian brings in great pride, but we still dream about all those foreign lands and honestly, it’s a shame to dream before exploring the wild that’s present around you. India is  7th largest country in the world with fantasies present all across the country, and yet how did we end up blind to this massive beauty?

Rivers, Snow-Clad Mountains, Oceans, Lakes, Islands, Deserts, Pristine Forests; name it and you shall find it here in this fantasy land and yet how did we end up blind to this massive beauty?

States are just piled up with wonders but it’s not us who wander across them but those foreigners that have come to inherit the essence of India and yet how did we end up blind to this massive beauty?

Hinduism, Christianity, Islam, Buddhism, Sikhs, it doesn’t matter what religion one follows, it’s the country with its heritage and culture that brings in the light, and yet how did we end up blind to this massive beauty?

Thar Desert Photos

We ought to take a trip from the bottom of the country to the very peak, discovering endless possibilities and creating experiences worth a lifetime just to reminiscent later.

A pilgrimage to Kanyakumari and Varanasi, green pastures along the coastal lines of Kerala, IT hub Bengaluru, Mumbai the heart of Bollywood,  beaches and parties in Goa, some good fishes along the West Bengal, the splendid Thar Desert in Rajasthan, butter chicken from Punjab, even to the mighty Himalayas that run along the borders of the country. How have we missed it all?

The most important question we ought to ask ourselves is, have we really ever understood and felt what India is?  Or did we just run after the green pastures forgetting the meadows that were beside us?

It’s a country with 22 different official languages and many more unofficial languages and dialects, country with innumerous cultures and styles, and yet HOW HAVE WE BEEN BLIND TO IT?
