Writers' Retreat
Sound or Silence?
Words might flow eloquently
Just like those streams
That pours out
In its own beauty
But sometimes it’s soothing
And other times complicated
Commandments are made
For chaos to follow
With composure
Being deadlier than swords
Then there is silence
An element of contradictions
That plays as both a boon and a bane
All depending upon the beholder
While also an armor against the sword above
That makes up for all the wounds
Sound or no sound
Both still portrays a reflection.
And what kind of beat it follows
Depends upon the player
