Nightingale Song

Heaven in the hands
Richness in the mind
And so he wandered to the woods
Forgot that ego cannot kill

Pride was dismayed and shattered
The dusk had finally took its tale
Heaven became a reminiscent
And the tooth fairy went missing

Someone once said,
An eye is worth only when it’s lost
Excuse the moment of realization
It’s always late

Glimpses of the valley
Became an amusement
The woods didn’t seem so dark after all
It was indeed green

Nightingale was left with a song
About the night still being young
