One of the most anticipated films of Challenging Star Darshan, Kranti, is all set to rock the box office in the coming year. This PAN India film also marks the 55th film of Darshan in the Kannada Film Industry.
‘Kranti’ is an action-drama movie based on fighting for social causes.
The title and the poster of the film ‘Kranti‘ were launched on 10th September via Darshan’s Twitter handle. On the auspicious occasion of Vijayadashami, a muhurtha ritual was performed to announce the launch of the film.
Directed by V Harikrishna, Kranti will be his second collaboration with Darshan in the lead role after Yajamana (2019), which was a commercial hit. The film stars popular actress Rachita Ram as the female lead opposite Darshan. V Harikrishna is also the music composer for the film. The producer duo Shylaja Nag and B Suresha are joining hands for this film under their banner, Media House Studio. Kranti will be Darshan’s first pan-India film and will be dubbed in Tamil, Telugu, Malayalam, and Hindi.
Harikrishna says, “Problems are faced by all, but solutions are seldom offered. The hero in Kranti does offers solutions and brings about change in society.”
Shylaja adds, “As the title suggests, there will be some “cause for the Kranti”. The poster has some words embedded on Darshan’s face as we want people to make their own interpretation of what the film could be for now.” That is interesting and curious, isn’t it?

Learn to fight alone – the tagline of the film and the poster release has already created a lot of buzz in the Kannada movie industry. Since Yajamana with its powerful storyline was a big hit, D-Boss fans are now eagerly waiting for yet another stunning piece of work with the release of Kranti.
Kranti will deliver a strong message and educate the audience in an entertaining way. The plot of the film revolves around a man (Darshan) who protects his people from the mischievous deeds and grave dangers they are being exposed to.
Regarding the film, this is what the challenging star had to say – “The artist in me always aims to entertain the audience to the fullest. While I make sure to fulfill the audience’s wish to see me portraying different characters, I also make sure the subject we present is underlined with strong morals.”
The film is all set to hit the screens next year, hopefully in the first quarter of 2022.
