BYJU’S FutureSchool’s ESPORTS LAB: Everything You Need to Know!

CreatorSpace: ESPORTS LAB was hosted on October 16, 2021, by BYJU’S FutureSchool, the leading live one-on-one online learning platform. The event was open for students between the ages of 6-18 and their parents.

CreatorSpace is a free virtual event series where kids engage and learn from world-renowned experts.

ESPORTS LAB is part of CreatorSpace and is BYJU’S FutureSchool’s flagship online interactive learning series. The intensive two-hour session educated students on the evolution of esports, trending games, key competitions, challenges faced, and a live Q&A session with the experts.

Recognized for being one of the most popular series amongst BYJU’S monthly educational events, it hosts thousands of kids and their parents from around the world. Previous events consisted of global STEM experts in the field of coding, satellites, math, and gaming.

The event was presented by a popular television presenter – Samir Kochhar, known for hosting the pre‑match show of the Indian Premier League.

BYJU’S FutureSchool

As an online interactive platform that provides educational programs on math, coding, and music, BYJU’S FutureSchool is designed for students of ages, 6-18. The platform facilitates students to receive personal attention from a mentor through the live one-on-one session along with other engaging practical activities. The global event featured top industry experts and ace gamers including:

Joey Gawrysiak:  Dr. Joey Gawrysiak is currently part of the Board of Directors for the National Association of Collegiate Esports (NACE) and also an advisor at the North American Scholastic Esports Federation. He is an Associate Professor of Esports at Shenandoah University and also the Director of Esports.

Christopher Scroggins: He is the co-founder of EDGE Consulting that aids in the development of the esports industry through high-quality deliverables, experience-driven expertise, and consultation. Currently, he is a doctoral candidate in entertainment and sport management at the University of South Carolina.

William Collis: As one of the world’s major authorities in the esports industry, he has founded multiple start‑ups namely Genji Data and Gamer Sensei. He has even authored a book namely “The Book of esports”
